The Bowling Center at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club is a fun and relaxing way to roll away the winter blues. Our Bowling Center offers all of the amenities of a public bowling alley, consisting of six regulation lanes and a full service menu and bar, while upholding all of the comforts of a private club. Exclusive access to the Bowling Center and our PBA Bowling Pro, Gordy Woods, to assist you and your group. Open Bowling
Open Bowling times vary depending on the schedule of private parties and bowling leagues. Please inquire through the front desk for the weekly schedule. They can be reached Wednesday through Sunday at (313) 884-2500.
*Open bowling is available only to members and their guests. Members must be present.
Weekly Hours
The Bowling Center is available for private parties Wednesday through Sunday. Hours vary depending on the schedule of bowling leagues and private parties. Please inquire with a catering coordinator to schedule your next event.
ARRANGEMENTS
Parties may be booked any time during the operating season, which runs from mid-September through the end of May. A service fee of $50 is required for all member parties and $100 service fee is required for all sponsored parties.
All food and beverage costs have a gratuity of 20% and a sales tax of 6% added.
Please note that if your private party does not use all the lanes the other lanes may be used by members requesting open bowling. If you do not wish to share the lanes with anyone else your fee would then be $180 per hour for the use of all the lanes.
When scheduling a private party, a Catering Coordinator needs to be contacted. Book early! Our center fills quickly and all bowling parties must have the approval of the Bowling Center Manager before any further arrangements can be made. Times and availability vary.

BOWLING FEES
$30.00 PER LANE PER HOUR
$4.00 FOR SHOE RENTAL
Our PBA bowling professional Gordy Woods will advise the amount of lanes needed for your event
House Rules
1. Children must have adult supervision at all times
2. Only shoes that have been approved by the Bowling Center Manager will be allowed in place of rented shoes.
3. Bowling courtesy must be used (only one person bowling at a time)
4. Everyone must stay behind the foul line

Friday Night No Tap Leagues are some of the most popular leagues.
