About Us

Welcome to the GPYC Sailfish Swim Team – a dynamic and competitive swim program designed for members aged 4-17 (age as of June 1). Our team is dedicated to fostering a passion for swimming, skill development, and a sense of camaraderie among our young swimmers.

At GPYC, we understand that each swimmer is unique, so we organize our teams based on individual abilities, ensuring that every participant gets the attention and guidance they need to thrive in the water. Our practices are not just about competition; they're about creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment.

The GPYC has a rich history and proudly stands as one of the original MICSA participants, contributing to the 84-year tradition of the Michigan Interclub Swimming Association. This esteemed association consists of 14 clubs scattered throughout Metro Detroit, coming together to celebrate the joy of swimming and competition.
